The Name
The Stillaguamish — the Stilly, to everyone who lives near or fishes her banks — is formed where its North and South Forks meet at Arlington: two wild, undammed forks tumbling out of the Cascades to become one river bound for Puget Sound. No major dams block it — one of the few rivers left in the region still running wild for salmon and steelhead. The wavy lines across our logo aren't just for decoration — they're the river itself, its eddies and currents, as the river tumbles down the valley. The wild nature of the Stilly is our spiritual guide. The Stilly is our home.
